Hi Benjamin, what an amazing article!

I love the idea that you can co-lead your relationships—as well as the relationship with yourself.

I also think that a great way to explore the “individualized consideration” concept (first seeking to understand and then be understood, creating real connection) is to apply the principles of Nonviolent Communication: when feeling triggered by someone’s words, instead of taking them personally (“How dare he say that to me?”), try to identify the feelings and the needs behind them (“He’s probably feeling hurt, and saying those things brings him relief. It has nothing to do with me, really.”)

Just some food for thought, and some more concepts for you to juggle with, hehe

Thanks again for writing this. I am a huge fan of your work. Keep it up!

P.S.: I also wanted to point out that the link in “Transformational Leadership” appears to be broken, at least for me.
